Job description
Crowley Cox have been retained to appoint a Payroll Manager for a dynamic international company. Our client is an award-winning, industry-leading company with multiple offices across several continents. The company is well located in South West London with excellent transport links and with new modern offices with a fun, collaborative atmosphere.
We are looking for an experienced professional to ensure the smooth-running of this vital business function. Working as part of a small team, the Payroll Manager will be a core part of a friendly and buzzy office, in addition to owning and improving Payroll as their function areas of expertise.
As the successful Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Controlling daily, weekly and monthly pay for 500 casual staff across multiple sites.
- Managing payroll for new starters, current employees, and leavers with P46, P60 and P11D's.
- Submission of RTI and pension reporting via a system gateway.
- Daily management of pay enquiries whilst liaising with Operational Managers.
- Filing and preparation of payroll backup for audits.
- Aiding with the company as they move to a new system in Spring 2022 and successfully training staff in its use.
As the successful Payroll Manager, you should:
- Exhibit significant experience working in a payroll function.
- Have experience of payroll filings with HMRC, RTI and pensions.
- Be experienced in payment processing for multiple teams.
- Display proficiency in advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, macros, etc.)
- Ideally have experience using Celina, Opera, or Fourth payroll systems.
In return you will receive a salary of up to £38,000 per annum dependant on your level of experience.
