Job Description

Dynamic, fast paced and globally operating Luxury Retail company have a requirement for an Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant to join the finance team. The industry they cover is global in its reach, and this takes their products and employees all over the world. They employ an informal and flexible approach to their working environment and team structure.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, liaising with the Company Accountant and working

closely with the Credit Controller, this position requires a focussed and positive approach to

support the financial health of the Company on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with CEO, ensuring he is fully up to date with financial situation
  • Work closely/liaise with external Company accountant
  • Month end reconciliations of all credit cards & Streamline
  • Weekly reconciliation of Worldpay
  • Ensure accounting records are accurate & up to date
  • Calculate sales team commissions
  • Purchase ledger management to include data entry, supplier payments & forecasting are
  • accurate & to maintain good relationships with suppliers
  • Arrange appropriate funds for staff trips
  • Maintain a good working relationship with the Bank.
  • Prepare debtors’ reports for sales team
  • Meet with HODs to discuss budgets/review costs/cashflow
  • Meet weekly with Operations Analyst to prepare financial reports
  • Review debtors’ position on a regular basis to ensure payment is made in a timely
  • fashion
  • Maintain finance relationships with suppliers/clients
