International company have a fabulous opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join their team immediately on a temporary to permanent basis. Ideally you will be studying ACCA, be newly qualified, be qualified by experience and ideally have used SAP.

Job role:

  • To work as part of the General Ledger Team reporting in to the General Ledger Manager
  • To make sure that the companies financial transactions are recorded in an accurate and timely basis



  • Assist with the month end process including liaising with management accountants
  • Working on the quarterly financial reporting to France and yearly statutory accounts – collating data and working with all departments and group companies involved to agree figures accurately
  • Supporting the sales ledger role including raising sales invoices and monthly debtors reports Processing
  • Preparation and assistance on VAT, Corporation Tax and PSA returns and compliance
  • Working on projects determined by General Ledger Manager / Senior Finance Manager
  • Helping to prepare the forecast cashflow
  • Supporting treasury team when required
  • Answering queries from colleagues on all aspects of general ledger/sales ledger/ treasury/ payments/ receipts
  • General Ledger processing and reconciliations



ACCA studier, Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience

Previous SAP knowledge

Good communicator

Capacity to work alone and as part of a team

Accurate and good attention to detail

Good organizational skills and time management

Positive attitude



Good Excel Skills

Experience of working in a busy department

Rate £14.00 to £18.00 p/h
