Junior Data Analyst- Leading National Sports Agency! £25k-£28k per annum + Study Support & Other Amazing Benefits! Fantastic opportunity to hone your reporting skills and take ownership of processes - PERFECT FOR SPORTS FANS!

For over 140 years, this agency has been at the forefront of the British sporting industry and responsible for some of UK sports greatest success stories. They are now looking for Junior Data Analyst to join their team and play a key role in improving reporting processes and convert data into valuable insight!

As the successful Junior Data Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Providing data analytics expertise across a number of platforms including SAS and bespoke membership software.
  • Identifying, analysing, interpreting and reporting on new trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Providing insight capability across the business’ varied activities and KPI reporting.
  • Acquiring data from our SQL databases & maintaining data management standards.
  • Developing and implementing new data analyses and proactively identifying new data collection process improvements.
  • Preparing accessible visualisations and insightful reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assessing, understanding and supporting data management and analysis requirements of other stakeholders.

What you will need to become the new Junior Data Analyst:

  • Have proven experience working in a similar analyst role.
  • Be confident working with data models, data mining and complex databases.
  • Have experience using software for analysing datasets (e.g. Excel, R, Tableau, Power BI, SQL Reporting, SAS EG etc).
  • Have experience using data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, SAS VA, and Tableau).
  • Preferably have a keen interest in sport.
  • Be a proactive individual who is curious, commercially aware and constantly striving to improve processes.

Salary & Benefits:

In return you will receive a salary of £25,000-£28,000 per annum + study support & other amazing benefits such as: very generous pension contribution, 25 days holiday, discounts at various retail stores, free onsite gym, cycle scheme & free parking!

Working hours are Monday-Friday 09.00-17.00 & the company are currently working on a hybrid model.
