A multi award-winning business are recruiting a junior management accountant to join their dynamic, growing and forward thinking team. Headed up by a highly qualified FD who is renown for developing his team, the role offers study support, excellent benefits and a relaxed working environment. The company culture is social, friendly and non-corporate. Ideally you will be a graduate and be studying ACCA, CIMA or ACA and determined to become a qualified accountant .

The Role:

Join our fun and passionate finance team and be part of a journey to shape and drive your career.  This role will involve reporting into the Financial Controller, you will work closely to deliver a full range of management accounts along with commercial analysis and business support.

This role will involve a level of management reporting and ad-hoc project work. This role would suit an ambitious and confident individual who can hit the ground running and add value in a short period of time.

This is a visible role that would suit a confident communicator who enjoys business partnering and influencing senior management. If you have experience working as a Management Accountant and thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment this could be a fantastic fit.

Responsibilities include:

Financial Reporting/Management Accounts

Production of event P&L’s on a timely basis.

Calculation and production of commission sheets monthly.

Supporting financial controller in audit preparation.

Support overall finance team objectives, covering staff in absence and ensuring high level of internal and external customer satisfaction.

Business Partnering:

Weekly update of trading sheets for Events.

Sales pipeline management.

Other ad-hoc analysis as required.

Qualifications and experience

Strong academic record (Degree level preferred)

Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA)

Excellent IT skills, including Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, SUMIF)

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and a hands-on approach

Flexible, willing to adapt and develop in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Strong communicator with both internal and external stakeholders

Pragmatic and commercial approach

Enthusiastic with a positive “can-do” attitude

Package

Salary £25,000 to £30,000 + Study Support

Annual performance related bonus of up to 10%

23 days’ annual leave, increasing by 1 day per annum after 2 years’ service
