Reconciliation Coordinator
Social, dynamic and growing high end retail company have an immediately requirement for a Reconciliations Coordinator to join the team for an initial three month contract with the view of going permanent thereafter. The Role:
- Based in the finance department you will be reporting into the Management Accountant. The role will focused on the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for the group – London and international.
- We are looking for a motivated self-starter, with knowledge and experience of retail transactions and reconciliations to coordinate the reconciliation of all in store transactions, bank accounts and cash accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver month-end reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for all entities; this will begin with the UK entities and expand to the global entities, and all entities that will arise within the Group.
- The reconciliation will be carried out on the below accounts:
- Bank Accounts
- Card Acquirers and PayPal
- Gift Cards and other liabilities
- Intercompany balance sheet accounts
- Assist the Retail ops team with flagship stores Till, Safe & Inventory variances.
- Completion of ONS forms for the Office for National Statistics, collecting data from various sources, mainly from Net Suite (accounting system), and other departments such as HR, marketing, etc.
- Assist the system team/accountant with system integration updates, especially any issues noted on the month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with ad-hoc activities that may arise from the Management Accountant.
Skills & attributes:
- Month end process experience is essential
- Experience in the Luxury sector and/or FMCG
- Advanced excel skills (VLOOKUP’s, Pivot tables, Sum If etc.)
- Flexible & proactive, with an eagerness to learn
- Able to work and collaborate with other within finance and with others not within in finance.
Salary £27,000
