Do you have experience managing the full payroll cycle for a small-to-medium sized business? If so, we have an amazing opportunity for you to become the new Senior Payroll Team Leader for one a stable and multi-award winning business! For over 90 years this company has been at the forefront of their market which they have done through unbeatable products and service. Now they want you to play a pivotal part in their finance team!

As the new Senior Payroll Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Using Sage to run monthly payrolls in an efficient manner
  • Calculate commissions based on employees sales
  • Send RTI to HMRC (monthly) as well as payment of taxes
  • Reconciliation of monthly and year end reports
  • Producing P11ds and P60s
  • Processing auto-enrolment pension reports
  • Dealing with employee tax and payroll queries

Required skills and attributes to be the new Payroll Team Leader:

  • You will have experience managing the payroll cycle from start to finish
  • Strong MS Excel proficiency
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work to deadlines
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Sage payroll experience would be ideal!
